At that time, I'd already been practicing Therapeutic Touch (TT) for about 20 years, and it just makes more sense to me. TT doesn't require specific attunements, it requires paying attention in certain ways. <br /><br />I think it resonates more with my Quaker faith, which is adamantly non-hierarchical. (No one has to be a Reiki master allowing you into the practice.) Also TT doesn't require me to know the patterns that I vaguely recall are part of doing Reiki, it's all about intuition.
